Mission: To raise money to fund a regular delivery of healthy immune boosting drinks/food to our local NHS heroes
On Friday 3rd April, my fellow student friends and I from CNM Brighton, sent a delivery of 50 healthy juices to the doctors and nurses at the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath, who are working on the frontline looking after patients with Coronavirus, including our fellow college friend, nurse Joanna Rebel-o.
Joanna and her colleagues are facing an incredibly tough time at the moment and were so happy to receive a healthy boost to their day. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot and all I wish is that we could raise enough money to send them something healthy, to help keep their immune systems up, every week or every day if possible.
A £3 donation would go towards one drink and we're trying to raise enough money to send a batch of 50 healthy immunity drinks from youjuice in Hove every week (£150 which inc. an NHS discount) for the next 12 weeks - when hopefully this virus will have passed (everything crossed for this). If by chance more money is raised, we would like to extend this to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, Worthing Hospital and also increase the number of deliveries if possible.
It's extremely important everyone keeps strong and healthy during these times and our doctors and nurses need it the most. I know from our initial gesture how grateful they would be for a regular healthy boost. Please help us thank our NHS heroes for the work they are doing by donating to this cause. Any size donation small or large, will be very gratefully received - Thank you!
