My mother has been misdiagnosed with MS since 1986. Her body have been devastated due to the unnecessary medication she's been on for such a prolonged time ( she can barely walk at times, has numerous complications, and unfortunately has gone blind due to an unnecessary medication she was put on ) . We have been blessed to be introduced to Dr. Sadiq in NYC. He specializes in MS and Sarcodosis. He belives my mother only has Pulmonary Sarcodosis. To see Dr.Sadiq twice it cost 1200-. A beautiful spirit referred me and my mother to Dr.Sadiq and paid for our initial 2 appointments. Moving forward my mother is on disability and I myself am not in the position to pay for her to see Dr.Sadiq. But he has agreed to see her for free!!! He needs to do a spinal tap to make sure number one that there is no evidence of MS in her body, number two to see that her Sarcodosis is either active or inactive. So we can begin the healing process. He has agreed to take on the cost of the spinal tap himself ( what an angel seriously <3 ) Unfortunately even with him taking on the cost of his fee and the spinal tap (1700-) We will still see some heavy expenses i.e.: Lab work, medication and travel expenses. Her insurance will not cover this. This is difficult for me to write for numerous reasons. I had to put my pride to the side and ask for help for my mommy. My little sister Alana shouldn't have to be the adult child she is when it come to caring for my mom. She deserves the mom I had during my childhood. Alana deserves a child hood period. My mom deserves to live. I have dreams of her in her best health. She is sewing cloths for herself and Lana. She expresses her self through her beautiful poetry. And she is moving around effortlessly and gracefully. No one deserves to live life like this. Not my mommy. I just want to see my mommy live.
