Healthcare internship to Viana, Portugal!

Hi, my name is Maddie and I am fundraising to travel on a healthcare internship to Portual in late May. I applied for a spot in the Viana do Castelo, Portugal internship program through Atlantis this summer, and I was lucky enough to be selected as one of ten individuals out of countless applicants to have this internship experience.

I will be applying to medical school next year, as I want to pursue neurology (and potentially neurosurgery!).

After a very rough few years of my life, God has given me this amazing opportunity and I feel as though it is my duty to attend this internship to Viana do Castelo and help the less fortunate. Please help me achieve this goal. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated.

I need to raise $5000 dollars in order to be able to go on this trip. About $4000 will go towards the internship itself; paying for housing, insurance, meals, transportation, excursions, etc. The other $1000 is for airfare, since that is the only thing not covered by the company that has offered me this position. Whatever is not used for airfare (if there is anything left over) will be used for either additional excursion opportunities, restaurants, or as spending money. I’ve calculated that if 50 people can generously donate $100 each, that I will reach this goal. But anything you can give to help me is valued.
