Healthcare Hero Amanda is homeless after huge fire

Donation protected
The day after Valentine's day 2021, my cousin Amanda Glover’s home caught on fire. Amanda and her husband, Matthew Glover were able to escape with their beloved dog, Mocca with only the clothes on their backs, no shoes in the snow, ice, and below-freezing temperatures. They lost almost all their belongings to the fire or smoke damage. Currently, they are displaced at a hotel and no family to stay with in-state. So far they have not been able to go back to work because of the chaos and trauma.

When she is not working as a registered nurse and DON, she is writing books, making homemade beauty products, or posting on her blog, The Clean Good Life. In about two weeks she is starting graduate school. Except, her textbooks, like many of her things, went up in flames.

Amanda has been a great mentor to many at her jobs. Volunteering her time to help patients that could not afford the healthcare they needed and tutoring minorities for free to help them get professional licenses. She devotes her time to the benefit of others.

She is a front-line worker, a healthcare hero that risks her life daily to care for the elderly. She has remained working throughout this pandemic to ensure that those under her care remain safe and as healthy as possible. She also has volunteered her time to those that cannot afford to give back. Yet, even though she has saved countless people, she now needs some saving herself.

Amanda needs to be able to find a new home so she can go back to focusing all her attention on helping patients in need. Amanda and her husband, Matt will need to buy new clothes, salvage what they can out of their home, get food, furniture, appliances, electronics on top of finding a new place to live. Her doggie Mocca will also need new food, toys, and clothes to keep him warm as well. It will be helpful for her to purchase exactly what she needs and what she lost versus getting item donations.

I ask that you donate to help them get what they need and replace what they lost. Anything over the goal will be used to help her with going back to school and any expenses she may occur. After hitting their goal, they plan to donate 25%  of any additional donations to charities like the Red Cross who gave them a few hundred dollars to help them, in order to help out other families in crisis.

Her second wedding anniversary is next month. Her birthday is on the 25th of this month as well. Let's give her an early birthday gift of being in a comfortable home with warm clothes during the frigid temperatures in Kansas.

Please contribute to this cause and share with others. If you can't donate, please just post it on your social media and ask others to repost, we may be able to get her what she needs to recover from this tragedy.

Thank you for your love for Amanda and her family! They greatly appreciate any donations that can help them back on their feet.
