Healthcare for Sara

Friends and family of Sara, she needs our help. She has finally received some much needed diagnoses and needs to move forward with treatment to get her body functioning properly. With your help we can get Sara back to the happy and healthy person we all love soo much. 
Let me fill you in...
She already knew she has MTHFR, a gene mutation that increases homocysteine levels and decreases folic acid and vitamin B absorption, among other things. It makes it hard for Sara to process lots of normal foods and glutens. Her diet has been reduced drastically and she has lost waaay too much weight because of this. If she gives in and eats foods she shouldn't, but needs because she is hungry, she ends up super sick, vomiting, and in alot of abdominal pain.
After finally getting an appt with a Naturopath in Eugene, they discovered that she has SIBO,  which is an overgrowth of small intestinal bacterial, and Leaky Gut, which is literally a gut that leaks into the abdomen. He is ready to help her treat these conditions and also guide her with how to deal with MTHFR for the rest of her life. 
The combination of these conditions are what has pushed Sara to a very unhealthy place, spending most of her days in bed or in the bath. Vomiting every single day, usually several times, in alot of pain, and with very low energy. Naturally this leads to depression, pretty severely, and now with the pandemic and kids at home she is just soo overwhelmed.  

Here's where we can help....  the appts to the Naturopath cost $224 EACH APPT. The treatment for the sibo is $500, and then they will treat the leaky gut. After an evaluation at 60 days, treatments may or may not need to be repeated. And then there is MTHFR and how to handle that going forward. There will be some testing along the way, labs, etc. None of this is covered by Sara's insurance, unfortunately,  but it is exactly what she needs to get better. Traditional Dr's and medicine have no clue how to handle her conditions.
