I am raising critical funds for my Health Care and Housing Security, PORQUE SI SE PUEDE Y SE DEBE!

I'm a passionate Transnational Xicana Feminist from LA residing in Mexico working for Health Equity and Quality of Life across borders as a remote Spanish-English Medical Interpreter. Throughout the entire Coronavirus pandemic I worked with frontline providers, historically discriminated patients, and underrepresented communities of color families... In all areas of life and death health care situations, from prenatal care and in real-time births, where it is still a choice abortion care, to Emergency Room and 911 responses, mental health therapy, delicate surgery, palliative care, emotional supportive care for families when a loved one passes... It is truly a labor of love and I am profoundly dedicated to it...

However, recently I myself became quite ill and could not work as I normally do, which often is 10-12-14 hr days as probably many of you all do often as well... To be able to receive some treatment and recovery, unfortunately then, I was only able to work part time. It really affected me financially and now basically I am quite behind on my rent and bills...

Like I mentioned, I live in Mexico and as lacking, expensive, discriminatory and deadly as US health care can be, unfortunately in Mexico it is extraordinarily even worse.

This is were y'all come in, OUR GOAL is to Raise $20,000 MXN pesos which converts in $1,000 USD for basic Health and Housing Security here in Mexico because I can not remain in my apartment with such a backup of rent and bills... A couple dollars, 2, 20, 100, 200 US dollars go a loooong way here for Mexico, with the devalued currency, the peso...

Because the campaign is coming out of Mexico the amount put in for the contribution should already be converted into MXN pesos, for examples,

our goal is $20,000 MXN - $1,000 USD

the exact real time conversion can be looked up on google,

at the moment conversions look somewhat as follows:

$4,000 MXN- $200 USD

$2,000 MXN- $100 USD

$1,000 MXN- $50 USD

$500 MXN- $25 USD....
