For 10 years, my grandfather, Dr. Lloyd A. Hamilton Jr., ran the Health Lifeline Clinic in Nyack,NY. His practice here primarily served the homeless, uninsured, and undocumented immigrants because he believed care should be accessible to all. Volunteering his time and money, and alongside other volunteers including members of the Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine, he cared for patients weekly until he was hospitalized in August. Sadly, my grandfather has passed away, and this clinic will have difficulty remaining open without funds.
