Hi, this is Neil. They say the hardest thing for most people is to ask for help. I am in the process of a bankruptcy proceeding after suffering with a severe back issue and 2 surgeries in the past 5 years. I have been able to work at 2 jobs, but one was a start up and they could no longer afford my employment and the other is more recent and I was unable to do the tasks required.

I have been trying to secure employment since August, but due to my limitations, have been unable to find anything. I now qualify for the Guaranteed Income supplement but it is taking a long time to wind itself through the bureaucracy. In the meantime, I am unable to make ends meet and am afraid I may lose my place to live. I am working at obtaining employment and other things which should assist me, but my need for the moment has become somewhat urgent.

This really sucks and I never thought things would turn out like this, but times are definitely tough. Any help any of my friends may be able to offer would be immensely appreciated. THANK YOU!
