Health & Happiness for Miss Verna

Verna James is the backbone of the team at or, The Whale, without her hard-work and dedication to us and this building (she has worked in this building for 22 years!) we would be lost! But most importantly Miss Verna is a mother, grandmother, auntie, cousin & friend. Her hard work helps to take care of her 5 children, 13 grandchildren, & a number of nieces & nephews! Sadly Miss Verna has been diagnosed with a 10cm invasive ductal carcinoma, aka breast cancer. She began her 12 weeks of chemotherapy in September, her surgery is scheduled for January followed by radiation. She hopes her energy will stay high to continue to work, plus we love to have her around! But it is likely this will not be the case. With Miss Verna out of work & an uncertain future, her whole family will be impacted. Any help, great or small, is immensely appreciated!
