Hello!

 My name is Carlos A. Marquez, I’m 37 years old living in Herndon, VA. I’m bless to have an amazing wife, her name is Rana. I’m also bless for having good friends and good coworkers. I enjoy life as much as I can. I love reading books, go out with my wife and friends or just staying home relaxing. I’m just a normal guy who loves my wife, my family, my friends, and of course my cat JayZ. I always do my best to be there for my family and friends when they need me. I love my wife and we have so many plans in life, including becoming parents, see the world, and live life at the maximum level. Basically I just want to live a normal life with my family. Sadly I got diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome which is a type of cancer where bloods cells don’t mature causing me to get tired easily, also get infections frequently. This type of cancer might develop into Leukemia. I’m getting a bone marrow transplant at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The bone marrow transplant is the only cure available at this time. I thank God for everything, including my family, thank God, my brother is a full match and he will be donating his bone marrow. The reason that I’m writing you is because I need your help. I need to cover the expenses related with the lodging. Once I get the bone marrow transplant I need to be under supervision of 24 hours and I need to stay in the Baltimore area since I have to be seen every day by the doctors at John Hopkins for a minimum of 60 days. I’m the sole provided at my house, and since I will be out of work for a while. I need your assistance in being able to pay the place in Baltimore where I will stay. Any donation will help.
