Shealynn Robbins is in the hospital for some as yet unknown health problems. They are doing tests to rule things out and try to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. As of now they believe it may be a sepsis infection. From exactly what is unknown - it could be a number of things including a genetic condition  that affects her tooth enamel and causes rapid tooth decay (Amelogenesis imperfecta), as she’s had several tooth infections before and has been struggling to get insurance to pay for the treatment she needs. I will update with more information On her current condition as the doctors figure things out. In the long term, the only real treatment option for her AI is full dental implants to protect her bone structure in her mouth and prevent further infections due to advanced tooth decay. This is a VERY expensive process and as mentioned before, insurance has been seeing this as a “cosmetic” procedure. But in Shealynn’s case, it is 100% medically necessary and really her only option. Full implants can cost upwards of $60,000. Please keep Shea in your prayers and that the doctors can figure out what exactly is wrong and effectively treat her. If we all come together and donate a few dollars, it could make a big impact for Shealynn when those hospital bills come due and could help save her life in the long run by getting her the treatment she needs for her AI.
