Health Emergency Help for Brain (and Anne)!

The man, the myth, the Brain! Everyone who knows Anne Eder knows The Brain, the tiny chihuahua with the biggest attitude on earth.

On Thursday 3/09, Brain suffered a health event that resembled a seizure. He was rushed to the vet, where they were unable to determine the exact cause and referred him to a cardiologist. The cardiologist could not see him until April at the earliest. That night after returning home, Brain had a repeat event and was again taken to the emergency room, where he has been being kept under observation.

Currently, they are still unsure of what is causing these events. He is being observed and monitored and will stay in the hospital overnight again as the team tries to rule out causes.

Bills for Brain's care are already approaching $4,000, and the doctors may recommend an MRI, which is being quoted as an additional $4,000 on top of that. While Anne brings joy to the world through her art and teaching, we all know that it's a career you choose because you love it (and Anne is great at it), not because it makes you rich. If you know Anne, you also know that she loves Brain more than anything.

That's why we, Anne's friend/colleague Jenny Blicharz and her daughter, Ivy Weir, are starting this fundraiser to help Brain get the diagnosis and care he needs. All of your help is appreciated beyond words. We'll continue to update on Brain's condition as we learn more.
