Jennifer and Daniel are both dedicated, hard working PSWs in Windsor Essex County. Jennifer works at a Chartwell Retirement Residence taking care of seniors and Daniel works as visiting PSW in the community providing care to help keep people in their homes. They were recently displaced from their home when the apartment building they live in caught fire. Jennifer and Daniel were forced to leave their home and find somewhere to live with their two children and Jennifer's mother. They luckily were able to find a place temporarily, but only for a few weeks. All of their furniture and personal belongings are damaged by smoke. Money raised will go to the family to assist them with a moving company/truck as they only have one day to go back into their apartment to get their items. It will help with a temporary storage unit for them to store their things while they find a new home. They also require a restoration company to rid their furniture of the heavy smoke smell. These healthcare heroes work hard everyday to provide care and support to our those in our community who need them. We, at the retirement residence that Jennifer works at, feel that we are part of her extended family and want to help support her and her family any way we can during this difficult time.
