Hi, my name is Caitlin, and I’m fundraising for my dog Hunter, who is currently very unwell and needs urgent veterinary care.

Hunter suddenly became extremely ill, passing blood and being repeatedly sick. I rushed him to an out-of-hours emergency vet who said he needed to stay overnight for intensive treatment, including fluids and monitoring, but the cost was £1,500 upfront, which I simply could not afford.

I brought him home heartbroken and terrified, and he has continued to be very poorly. I took him straight back to the vets today, where they’ve agreed to give him medication and fluids for a few hours, but he is in a grey area and could worsen without the ongoing treatment he needs. Unfortunately, they are unable to offer a payment plan for overnight care.

I’ve recently moved house and have completely exhausted my finances trying to get Hunter help. I am doing absolutely everything I can for him, but I can’t do this alone.

Hunter is a much-loved family dog and means the world to me and my young son. Watching him suffer has been devastating, and all I want is to give him the chance to recover.
