Health Care for Markus & Marga

Markus K and Marga Fernández have been entertaining fans all over the world with their music and music videos for many years.

Markus is a busker and plays on the street for money. Marga makes videos for social media such as YouTube and Facebook, usually around 10 to 15 per month.

They live from the tips they receive from people on the street, during their busking sessions. They also sell CDs and USB sticks, on the street and via Bandcamp.

Yes, it’s a dream come true, a wonderful way to travel doing what you love. But there is a downside to this way of life.

The income from busking and album sales is unpredictable and only pays for the bare minimum. If Markus doesn’t find a good place for busking, they don’t eat. If they do well, they spend that extra money to travel to another country. This keeps the videos more interesting too.

There is never anything extra for healthcare. They do their best to stay rested and to eat healthy, but that’s not always easy when you are traveling. Their many years on the road are taking their toll on many levels.

Markus urgently needs dental care and they both need new glasses. Aches and pains are starting to trouble them more with time.

Right now, they are in Australia, looking for a way to fund their travel to India. The cost of living in India is much lower, and healthcare is of a very high standard. Dental surgery and glasses are much more affordable. There are also many excellent Ayurvedic clinics, for a complete detox and for natural supplements, to help rejuvenate their travel-worn bodies.
