Health Care and Living Expenses

My mother was involved in the accident by the intersection of Capital Circle NW and Commonwealth Blvd around 2 pm on Monday, February 19th, 2018. She has gone through two major but successful surgeries within the first  24 hours of the accident. She has done very well in recovering in the ICU and will be released and transported to Brooks Rehab. In Jacksonville, Fl. Many people have been reaching out wanting to help out financially for her and our family, therefore we our opening up this GoFundMe account. The money would be going towards things such as medical care, living expenses for my brother and I at home (we do live with her and she is the head of the household), travel expenses for my brother and I to see her in rehab, possible renovations to the house for when she comes home, etc.  We are very appreciative of all the community love and support. She is expected to gain almost all of her mobility back with rehab. Mom is still herself and is very eager to start rehab and get back to doing all the things she loves. She is usually the one who enjoys helping the village and now it's a village trying to help her.
