Hello, I'm Vanessa and for some years now I have had the pleasure of supporting Health Aid Onlus, an international public health project that aims to improve the health conditions and schooling of a rural community in northern Ghana, a developing African country.

In this video - in Italian - you will be able to see in what conditions the women of this region are currently forced to give birth: without enough beds or adequate treatment and medicines. For this reason, Health Aid Onlus has launched a new project this year called Wapuli, which will renovate a reception facility for pregnant women.

The cost of this project amounts to just over two thousand euros: if we all shared the expense, it would be equivalent to the cost of a sandwich and a bottle of water during our lunch break.

I sincerely hope you will join me and the other volunteers of the association in raising the necessary funds to start this important project which will bring much value to the less fortunate women who live in that area of Ghana.
