Help me Heal Shasta

Meet Shasta! She's a corgi mix who brings joy to wherever she goes on her short little legs. She is absolutely our best friend and offers the therapy that only a dog can. Last week Anthony and I, Aimee, found a small lump on Shasta's front leg and took her to the vet. What we dreaded the most came back in her results:       it is cancer. 

What we thought would be a routine mass removal has turned into a much more complicated diagnosis, resulting not only in surgery on multiple points of Shasta's body, but also after treatment that includes either chemotherapy or radiation treatment if we ultimately want to save her limb from amputation and her life in the long term. 


We know this is a lot of money, but for us Shasta is a member of our family and Aimee's best friend (pet owners will understand). We hope to get enough money to afford the expensive treatment that will do the best at making sure Shasta doesn't need subsequent treatments or additional surgeries in the future.
