Thank you all for all of the donations and support you offered Marisa during her healing. I believe the way the community has come together really lifted Marisa's heart as well as the hearts of all of those who have been honored to witness it. Thank you for shining as brightly as you did.

I want to inform those who may not know that our Dear Sister Marisa Anita Reyes transitioned over as of June 13th, 2023. She is deeply missed and so much love has been given. The memorial service will be announced by the family. There is a new GoFundMe page for Marisa and to support her dreams of a vibrant community you're welcome to donate here: Miquiztochtli Foundation.

Her mother, Yolanda Saldana, is now the beneficiary for this and the new one. This specific page will no longer be accepting donations.

Hi, my name is Tia-Marie and I'm creating a fundraiser to help a dear friend of mine named Marisa Miquiztochtli Reyes.

Marisa is the co-founder of the Purple Lotus Massage and Wellness Home where she provides alternative and holistic health services to her clients with offerings like Therapeutic Massages, Self-Love Ceremonies, Yoni Steams, Womb Health, Self-Love Rituals, and so much more. All of this she provides right from her childhood home which has turned into a Healing Temple. For the previous 8 years, Marisa helped others in her community heal from their ailments and create a better life for themselves through transformational personal development and care.

As a client turned friend myself, I have witnessed the magic Marisa brings into others' lives. For me, she has taught me the value of ritual, ceremony, and prayer as I attended the events she has led and the self-love ceremonies she has gifted me. She truly lives the life she teaches. Marisa is also a phenomenal medicine woman and artist, singing and sharing songs of the Moon Dance tradition by creating an album called Moon Dance Medicine Music released on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major music platforms in recent years. These prayer songs she sings represent shared visions and stories of prayer, strength, and love with the Spirits all around us offering a way to bridge healing with community and song.

In June of 2021, Marisa was suddenly diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductile Carcinoma, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. Since this diagnosis, Marisa has solely focused on her self-healing, which included going back to the roots of her Kundalini Yoga teachings and training, with the help of Ayurvedic Doctors, and other Spiritual practices and healing modalities. With Marisa focusing on her health, she became unable to continue to provide these beautiful offerings for the community in the same capacity as before.

As we all may know, cancer treatment can be costly, especially with the added cost of independent health insurance. During this difficult time, it would be wonderful to alleviate this amazing superhuman from the burden of finances during her treatment by creating this GoFundMe page. These donations will help with the costs of her medical services and her livelihood so that she can take time to care for herself fully. I'm asking for your support in helping to Heal the Healer.

Marisa has been a community healer for a very long time and is now taking time to help heal herself. We as a community can help her maintain focus on her healing so that when she is ready, she can come back to this powerful work stronger than ever before. Any donations are welcomed.
