FRANKS STORY
Friends & Family, our beloved Frank needs our help. After his service in the US ARMY he started working for AA flight service. Frank developed pulmonary fibrosis in 1997 when he was working as a flight attendant. Doctors confirmed that it was caused by chemicals sprayed in the cabins of the airplanes. The inflamation in the lungs caused the lungs to turn fibrotic. All theses years he has managed this horrible illness with his strong faith in God and his diet. He went back to work and faithfully stayed at his work even though he lost 75% of his original income. In 2013 he was exposed to some car fumes and it caused his lungs to be inflamed again. This started a flare up and his lungs progressed into more scar tissue which caused his breathing to be seriously obstructed. At this time he is in desperate need to receive life changing stem cell treatment plus be put on a new drug that the FDA just approved to stabilize his lungs. His pulmonologist feels this is the only way to help him. He needs to have the stem cell treatments and medicine starting in March. This will save Frank's life. (The stem cells will be harvested from Frank's blood.)
COSTS
These funds will go to pay for the stem cell treatments and for the very expensive medicine. Which no insurance wants to pay.
Frank is on long term disability at this time until he is stable again to return to work. I, his wife, have been battling with lupus however still work a couple small shops in an antique mall trying to keep us financially afloat.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Anyone who knows Frank and I know how selfless we are. We are incredibly hard workers and don't give up easy. We have never asked anyone to help us. We always worked hard on all arising matters. At this time we are overwhelmed due to both of our physical condition. If you are able to donate anything at all, I know that Frank and I will be eternally grateful.
