Healing Underserved from Trauma

Now I See A Person Institute (NISAPI) is a nonprofit agency devoted to serving the under-served mental health and substance populations who have not succeeded in traditional therapy or institutionalization, nor have the means to seek sustainable treatment. Our qualitative research reflects success especially for those considered "unchangeable". Most of our clients are seen pro-bono or at extremely reduced fees.

All clients at NISAPI have individual and relational therapy. Sessions may last two to three hours and several times a week until the initial crisis has been transformed into narratives of hope, strength, and change. We take time to develop relationships with each person in the client’s community of support, to hear their need as well as the client’s. Clients who previously have been defined by deficiencies find their inherent strengths and redefine their self-identities. They become “extraordinary people” who are able to shed the past and move forward with new narratives of self, new attachments, and endless opportunities. WE do all of this at horse ranch in Chatsworth, CA where the milieu is normal and nurturing, surrounded by caring staff and loving horses.

Our hope is to achieve promote expansion, sustainability and longevity, to be able to pay our staff of professional, clinical volunteers, continue and expand our training programs and research and ultimately be able to continue our hard work that has healed hundreds of families with severe familial conflict and trauma in the past decade.

YOUR donation will aid individuals ,couples and families to heal and transcend symptoms but ultimately will lead to intergenerational change. No amount is too little or too much for this cause. All donations will go directly to sustainability to see these cases.
