Healing Trooper's Broken Legs

Tax deductible
Here is Trooper's story:

Monday, March 22nd a good samaritan found an injured dog on his walking route. After efforts from both Newaygo and Muskegon County Animal Control, we were able to quickly get him in for a vet exam. From there it was accessed that Trooper had two fractured front legs and x-rays were scheduled immediately.

From our understanding and professional reviews, these injuries were caused by direct blunt force trauma. Trooper did not have any other injuries, no sign of being hit by a car, no open wounds, only two severely broken legs. You'd hate to think anyone could do this to an animal but this appears to be senseless and intentional.

Rescue partners, Newaygo and Muskegon County Animal Control, and the incredible vets from Ottawa County, are heartbroken.  No one wanted to give up on this little guy and so we are coming together.

Please help by donating to the extensive surgery Trooper has to undergo. If you know anyone who may be involved in this situation, please notify Newaygo County Animal Control. Trooper will be recovering in a foster home through Pound Buddies at this time.
