Healing the Heart: Free Ruqyah for Those in Need

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌۭ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًۭا

“And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.” Surah Al-Isrā’ (17:82)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

My name is Intisar and I am raising funds on behalf of Majalis Al-Qur’an, a Qur’an-centred organisation based in Nairobi, Kenya. Their mission is to bring spiritual relief and healing to those struggling with hardship, affliction, or distress through the recitation of the full Qur’an (khatm) in one sitting, seeking the mercy and healing of Allah ﷻ.

Majalis Al-Qur’an operates with a beautiful principle: no one is ever turned away, regardless of their financial situation. While some who are able contribute towards the costs, many who are suffering simply cannot afford to do so. Yet the centre continues to welcome and serve everyone purely for the sake of Allah.

Your donations will help cover the operational needs of the centre, including:

- Upkeep of the premises and utilities

- Allowances for the reciters who dedicate their time for this khidmah

- Qur’an copies and other essential materials

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” Sunan al-Tirmidhi (604)

These words remind us that both the Qur’an and charity are means of healing and mercy and by supporting this work, you are helping to sustain a place where the words of Allah bring comfort and healing to those in need.
