On Sunday, March 22nd, Sherry was doing what she does best: pushing herself for the sake of others. While training for a bike race to raise funds for the Autism Foundation, she suffered a serious accident. Sherry landed heavily on her right side, resulting in a fractured radius and a significant injury to her right shoulder. We are currently awaiting an MRI to determine the full extent of the shoulder damage and whether surgery will be required.
As many of you know, Sherry is a dedicated Acupuncture Physician. Her work is her passion, and her hands are her instruments of healing. Because she is self-employed, her ability to earn a living is tied directly to her physical mobility. Currently, Sherry is unable to treat patients. Between the sudden loss of income, rising medical bills, and daily living expenses, the path to recovery looks daunting.
Sherry is the first person to volunteer her time and energy for a cause, but she is often the last person to ask for help for herself.
