Hi, I’m Amber—an independent single mom of two, a holistic healer, and the heart behind Amber Dragon Acupuncture in Lewes, Delaware. For the past 17 years—10 of them here in Lewes—I’ve been honored to serve my community through acupuncture, massage, and energy work, helping people find relief, balance, and healing.

Five years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After two surgeries and radiation, I came back stronger—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I found strength in CrossFit, challenged myself with obstacle course races, and poured my heart into expanding my practice. That vision became The Healing House—a cozy cooperative wellness home in Lewes that I lovingly transformed into a sanctuary for healing, community, and connection. One of my proudest additions is the Zen Den—a peaceful room where clients can relax and regroup after their session before heading back into the real world.

This winter, the breast cancer returned for another round. I recently underwent a mastectomy and will need an additional surgery. As anyone who’s faced cancer knows, the journey never truly ends. I've had to pause my practice—my only source of income—to focus fully on recovery, and on caring for myself and my kids. I’m taking at least a month off and plan to return gradually, part-time, as I rebuild strength and endurance.

As someone who’s always been self-reliant and not used to asking for help, reaching out like this is not easy.
