Healing the Healer-Mama B

Blessings and thank you for reading my story. My name is Betsy, some of you may not know me,  others have known me for a very long time, or you may know me as Fearless Intuition on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook or @B3tsy33 on Twitter. Ive been a professional energy healer and astrologer for about 4 years. But I’m also a mama to 3 beautiful boys and I am grateful to have a strong support system. 

In the beginning of April 2021 I broke a tooth and had to wait a few days to see the dentist. It became infected and a migraine formed like I’ve never had before. That was my first ER visit. I had the root canal and crown done a day after the ER and began feeling better for a couple days when the headache came back full force. I couldn’t keep anything down, I had a temperature and after I didn’t get better, and my left side began to weaken, I had my 2nd ER visit which turned into a hospital stay. I don’t even remember that ER visit. I was in so much pain. After I was admitted they began to run tests, lumbar puncture, CAT scan... etc.

The on call Doctor that night took a chance and ran an MRV which is an MRI with contrast to veins and found the Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or large blood clot in the right hemisphere of my brain. And FINALLY we had an answer for why I had been so sick.

Unfortunately some damage had already been done. I have severe reoccurring migraines, I’ve visited the ER again after my hospital stay. My vision is not clear (was 20/20) and I have hyper sensitivity to any lights due to edema (swelling) in the back of my eyes, so I wear super cool pink shades inside and darker sunglasses if I have to go outside. And, although I didn’t have a stroke, oxygen blood supply was cut off to my left side long enough to weaken my left arm and leg. My arm and hand are regaining strength, I’ll be needing physical therapy on my leg, I’m currently walking with a cane.

I was in the hospital for 6 very scary days. I’m home recovering now, which is wonderful, but I can’t work. And I love my job so much. I’ve loved being a healer and guide to anyone who’s been lost on their journey. I know my purpose is to teach others to Love themselves and I’m grateful everyday to do this kind of work. 

It’s time now for me to be the one I heal.   

As I’m sure you can imagine this has been a very emotional journey for me. I’m not to have any stress or anything that can raise my blood pressure. Until this clot dissolves, I’m sort of in a holding pattern. I have follow up MRV’s scheduled in the next couple months along with physical therapy and many doctor appts. My team of doctors are AMAZING. I am eternally grateful for their service. 

I’m regaining my strength daily, but this will be a long healing journey for me and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to work again. With the hospital bills beginning to add up, and more medical needs coming, on top of living expenses it’s just too much for me to take on.
