Healing Support for Eric & Alana

Eric’s story: on Tuesday January 28th, Eric was in a terrible auto accident which left him with many broken bones, brain swelling and bleeding, and internal injuries. By the Grace of God, he’s since survived life-saving and restorative surgeries to start him on the long road to recovery. His brain injury seems to slowly be resolving, and his internal injuries have necessitated a temporary ostomy bag for 3-6 months. But his orthopedic injuries are what will likely take the longest to heal - with broken/injured bones including both arms, both knees, left foot, jaw, and several ribs. While the timeline of his healing journey are fluid and unsure at the moment, the doctors have estimated it’ll take 6-12 months, including various different types of rehabilitation. As a once very active and fit young man, this will be quite the journey indeed, but we’re feeling positive that he’ll take on the each challenge as only Eric would…all-in, wholeheartedly, and hopefully, with that great Eric smile and attitude.

As with any incident like this, it comes with the potential of significant financial burdens. Eric will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, as he goes through the rehabilitation process. And as we all know, bills still have to be paid.
