Help Sosa Heal

Sosa is a 4-month-old German Shepherd rescued by Isaiah Ramirez. She was thriving, growing up alongside her siblings who were placed in loving homes with friends.

On Tuesday night, after a playdate with her brother, Sosa jumped from a truck bed during a short 4-minute drive — something she had done safely before. This time was different. She suffered multiple injuries, including a broken leg that now requires surgery.

Her family has already spent over $2,000 in emergency care in just 3 days. Surgery at Vet Solutions of Austin is scheduled for the 18th, with an estimated cost of at least $1,500, not including continued treatment and recovery.
