Since I was 19, my health has been a journey of highs and lows — from surviving cancer in my younger years to managing ongoing challenges like COPD, depression, and the emotional toll they’ve taken on both my body and spirit. I’ve spent years doing my best to stay strong, grateful, and hopeful, but I’ve reached a place where I truly need support.

One of the most healing steps I can take now is bringing an English Cream Golden Retriever into my life and training them to become my certified service companion. This isn’t just about having a dog — it’s about finding balance, connection, and purpose through the steady companionship of a breed known for its gentleness, intuition, and emotional intelligence.

It’s hard for me to ask for help. I’ve spent most of my life putting on a brave face and pretending things are fine, even when they aren’t. But the truth is — I can’t do this part alone. I’m asking for help because I believe this step could change my quality of life, not just in a practical sense, but in a deeply emotional one.

I’ve researched breeders, training programs, and certification options. What I need help with are the initial costs: adoption, early veterinary care, and the beginning stages of professional service-dog training.

If you choose to support this journey, you’ll be helping me rebuild daily stability and rediscover joy — one step, one heartbeat, one wagging tail at a time. Every bit of kindness — whether it’s sharing this page or donating — brings this healing dream closer to reality.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing that healing can come in many forms — sometimes even on four paws.

With love and gratitude,
Adriana
