Invitation from Nikki Nelson’s husband – A Bold Surge to Take the Reins on Breast Cancer

This is an invitation for you to help a strong mother to face her cancer with strength and hope.  A cancer diagnosis is shocking and frightening.  We all have cancer inside us, but for some, the cancer reaches threatening levels.  We can never entirely get rid of the cancer inside us, but we can choose how we take it on.  Nichole Nelson has chosen to face her cancer by understanding how to live with it, rather than to hope that she does not die from it.  She is taking a chance to keep her vibrancy and energy—to build an immune system so strong that she creates an inhospitable environment for her cancer to spread.  She is choosing a treatment path based on collaboration with medical caregivers and with other companions on this journey.  She is choosing not to use toxic measures to weaken her body.  She is choosing to strengthen her spirit and her faith.  Will you join in this opportunity to share in this woman’s courage to tread on a new path for cancer survival?

An appeal from Nikki Nelson’s sister – Nikki’s Diagnosis and Story

On September 6th, 2018, my sister Nikki’s life changed.  On what was supposed to be a wonderfully happy day (her second oldest daughter’s 18th birthday), she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer.  Nikki is a 44-year-old wife of 20+ years to Greg and a mother to nine beautiful children (ages 5-19).

Ever since her first child was born, Nikki’s dedicated her life to raising her family in a loving home, full of Catholic faith and tradition.  She’s spent most of her adult life giving.  She gives her time to her husband (she runs their busy household as a stay-at-home mother); she gives her time to her children (she’s homeschooled all nine of them, as well as nurtured them into caring, capable people); she gives her time to her church, her homeschool community (she teaches math), her kids’ select soccer club, children's theater… The list literally could go on and on.  I would love to be able to give back to my sister, to help Nikki and her family.  But I cannot do it alone.

Treatment Plan

When first diagnosed, Nikki consulted with surgeons and oncologists who recommend a traditional treatment plan, such as Chemotherapy, Hormone Treatment, and a Mastectomy.  After hearing what their plan for her was, she researched natural treatment options.  Nikki really wants to thrive and to remain strong, healthy, and present while healing cancer, so she can enjoy and participate with her kids, husband, other family, and friends.  To do that, she’s chosen to work to heal her cancer using the non-toxic methods.  And her expenses are adding up.  Greg and Nikki have been paying out-of-pocket for the following treatments, since non-traditional cancer treatment is not covered by insurance:

>Supplements (about $1000 month)
>Nutritional counseling ($100/month)
>Ongoing testing (scans, blood tests ranging from $100 - $5000 per scan/test)
>Integrated doctor fees ($200/month)
>Chiropractor care ($160/month)
>Rife and Infrared biomat treatment ($250 month)

Nikki has been working hard for the past 5-6 months to get her body and immune system in optimal shape to fight the cancer.  She would like to add some protocols for her healing journey, but she needs help to do it.   The following are her next steps while she continues all the above.

****Private cancer coaching (12 months):  https://breastcancerconqueror.com/private/. This opportunity will help guide her in biological testing to find deficiencies on a cellular level for her body.  A game plan will be created to target those needs in her body.  This can potentially modify the supplement schedule (about $3000 for the year).
****Hope 4 Cancer Healing Retreat:  https://hope4cancer.com/about-us/.  Nikki will get a private consultation with Dr. Véronique Desaulniers and Dr. Tony Jimenez, leaders in the natural cancer healing community.  She will also get to participate in many of the state-of-the-art therapies that are offered at Hope4Cancer, including oxygen therapies, biological IV therapies, and anti-angiogenic therapies (about $10,000).
****IV Vitamin C treatments:  https://www.ivhealthclub.com/iv-treatment-for-cancer-patient ($3500 for the first 5 weeks, then $200/week for maintenance).

My Wish

Can you join me in helping my sister?  Nikki needs to be around for many, many years as a partner to her husband, and a mother to her children.  And selfishly, I need my big sister around for me; she’s always taken care of me, and I don’t know what I’d do without her.  It’s my turn to try to take care of her a little bit.

There have been many people who have helped Nikki and her family so far.   Meals have been lovingly provided, gift cards have been anonymously mailed, and people have taken care of the kids as needed.  We are all so thankful!  There are big emotional and financial burdens that come along when you are fighting cancer, but Nikki and Greg do not like asking for help.

I’d like to lighten these burdens in any way possible.  Please consider donating to her fight; no amount is too little.  Every donation will be lovingly appreciated and used to get Nikki well again.

We appreciate your prayers and support as Nikki works really hard to heal.  Bless you!
