UPDATE: I went to go visit Kevin Bacon today and the Vet updated me. He had surgery and taking a little bit longer to heal because he's just so active. He's precious. A vet tech has might adopt him. Which is the best outcome for a little tri-pod kitty. Happy life for him! Thank you to everyone that helped!

UPDATE: The owner never came forward. The Vet is preceeding with the amputation. It's going to be a long process for this little brave fella. Please go to the link on the SoCal network on Facebook for more pictures and videos. Or I'll try to upload them here!

UPDATE: We have been waiting patiently. The Vet's office has been trying to contact the owner. This Vet's office is bringing different types of critters in from the fires. So they are extremely busy. But any update, I'll post here. Thank you soo much for caring for this baby, he's a sweetheart.

UPDATE: Thank You soo much for your donations! The kitty, now named Kevin Bacon :), is Microchipped! The Vet's office has been trying to contact the owner since yesterday with no success. The Vet cannot proceed with any type of surgery for now. He estimates that the wound is about a month old. He's being taken care of and staying at the Vet's office (Palms & Paws Veterinary Center in Santa Monica).

UPDATE: Finally trapped, the cat is at home with me in a carrier. Vet vist in the morning!

UPDATE: The ladies volunteering at Palms and Paws Veterinary Center have secured a Vet ( possible amputation). Still trying to secure the cat with one of their volunteers. Goal: Be in clinic by tomorrow morning.

Hello Everyone! This is Rocio from the San Fernando Valley . Just up north of LA.

A young cat with 3 legs suddenly appeared about 2/3 weeks ago at my place of work (North Hills/Van Nuys). My coworkers and I have been trying to gain it's trust. Just yesterday, I was notified that there seems to be a bone sticking out of the "amputated" leg. Trying to upload more pictures.

We need to find it a home but first we need to secure him (someone said it appeared to have been fixed). He's a little sweetheart and deserves a loving home!

I know that with the fires everyone is having a hard time but if we can collectively help this little fella. He won't be able to survive on his own.
