Before she was 2 years old, my daughter suffered a medically induced injury causing issues with her gut and brain. She went from being healthy and meeting her milestones to a complete stop in true verbal communication and a reduced physical ability for tolerance in many things. It's as if lights that were always on, were not only dimmed in some areas - but turned off in others all together.
