Healing Madden

Hi, my name is Brittnie and I created this account because the Humphreys family is so dear to my heart. Their third little boy Madden was born with a cleft lip and has had many surgeries to get him to the point he is at today, he is also facing more surgeries in the future. It’s been a hard journey but through it all, he and his family have remained strong and faithful. And because they have been through so much I would love to help them. They found a cat in Minnesota. This cat not only has a cleft lip like Madden, but also has complete heterochromia iridium (different colored eyes) just like Madden!!!! That’s so insanely rare for any living thing to have BOTH! These two are meant to be together. This family would be such a good home for this kitty, and he would be the perfect companion for Madden. Crazy how a cat has the potential to act like a therapy pet, and make a kid feel less alone in the world. They have been approved for adoption. But the rescue doesn’t allow transport, so they have to go pick him up. It’s a 30 hour round trip drive so I’m wanting to help fund their expenses for the trip. All of the money raised will go directly to the family to fund their trip and what’s left over will go too help fund Madden’s next surgery.
