Healing Kori of childhood cancer
Donation protected

Kori is a very energetic and sweet little girl. I always knew there was something special about her from the moment she was just starting to talk and the things she would say. She is kind and thoughtful, and she loves to sing and dance. Kori is such a very brave, strong and fearless baby girl! Although she has so much strength, it is very hard to see my baby going through all that she has , and Kori still has a long road ahead of her. It’s put a strain on all of us. I’m unable to work anymore because Kori needs around the clock care, and she has developed bad anxiety from all of this. She is always afraid that I’m going to leave her. She’ll constantly tell me throughout the day, "Don’t leave me.” I'll say, "I won't," and give her plenty of reassurance. Then she’ll say, “Promise,” which is to be expected, because as smart as she is, she’s still just a baby, and it’s hard to grasp all that’s happened to her in such a very short period.

Another challenge for her is the fact that she has to get her port needles changed weekly and sometimes more frequently. It’s very painful and a lot to endure at such a young age.
Kori also found her reflection very scary once she lost her hair, eyebrows and lashes and the darkening of her skin as well as the black nail beds from her treatment. She would be afraid to look in the mirror. She’d just stand there shaking and crying, not understanding, and sometimes just having panic attacks. But I’m so happy to say we’ve gotten past that. Kori now tells everyone, "My hair is growing back stronger and stronger and longer and longer!" She was used to getting her hair done and her nails polished weekly. She’s super girly....she’s a real princess! :-)
During this unfortunate time, as we continue to remain strong and keep Kori well, it has become increasingly hard to be able to continue to give her everything that’s needed to keep her strong, so that she can get back to playing and not have to worry about hospital visits etc.
I’m reaching out for any amount you can give to help during this hardship we’ve stumbled upon.
We appreciate any amount you are able to donate in helping Princess Kori with her battle against cancer. Please keep her in your prayers and help us spread the word!!!
