Hello, Jaime and Nicole here
The proud owners of the wonderful Journey

Unfortunately, Journey has suffered a serious accident on October 23rd 2025 and requires surgery due to a dislocated left leg. Those who know Journey can attest to his sweet nature and loving spirit. Jaime and I would be deeply grateful for any support you can offer towards his surgery fund during this difficult time.

It breaks us knowing Journey never got to enjoy his first snow day, how he can’t understand why he can’t play, why his toys stay untouched, or why his body won’t let him greet us the way he used to. No walkies.‍No dog friends. Just confusion, and us left to watch him miss the simple joys he deserved so much!

In the early days of his injury, we rushed Journey to the emergency room, where a doctor at RBVH managed to pop his dislocated joint back into place, avoiding the surgery at that time. Now, more than two months into his recovery and physical therapy, we face the harsh reality that he has made no progress in healing. Since reaching the 4 week mark, the DR said everything seemed well at that time, but shorty after that he suffered 3 more dislocations. This only worsened, and as of right now, he has had a total of 6 dislocations.
Our 6 week emergency visit to RBVH brought more heartache, as the doctor grimly informed us that Journey's leg will continue to dislocate until he undergoes the necessary surgery, leaving us in a state of helplessness and worry.
Even on Christmas Day (simple trying to stand up from laying down.) his leg popped out once in the AM and once in the PM.

Jaime and I are reaching out to our support network, acquaintances, and kind strangers for financial assistance since the surgery is extremely costly. ($6000)

Thank you for your kindness and keeping Journey in your thoughts!
