Honey has been my heart and anchor through so much — my calm in the chaos. If you’ve met her, you know she’s something special: sweet, gentle, and grounding.
We just moved back to the States and are still settling in — figuring out housing and life again — when we got hit with unexpected news: Honey tested positive for heartworm.
Thankfully, it’s treatable. But it’s a long, intense, and costly process. The treatment spans several months and involves medications, injections, strict activity restrictions, and lots of vet visits. I want to give her the absolute best care possible — and while I’ve always done my best to plan for the unexpected, this one is a little too big to carry alone right now.
It’s not easy to ask for help, especially when there are so many important causes out there. But if you know Honey, you know how magical she is, and how much she means to many. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply holding us in your thoughts — it all means the world.
Thank you for being part of our lives and for loving my girl. We’re going to get through this, one step at a time.
