Providing emergency packages, medical aid, and rebuilding support to families devastated by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

Overview

Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 hurricane, brought severe flooding and widespread damage across Jamaica, impacting rural and coastal communities where recovery will require time, care, and collective support. Healing Herizons Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in collaboration with Coral Cove Wellness Resort, has mobilized a team of nurses, doctors, and volunteers to provide emergency wellness and medical relief.

Who We Are

Healing Herizons Foundation empowers women at every stage of life through crisis relief, maternal support, wellness programs, and community rebuilding.

In collaboration, Dr. Marion Johnson (MSNDMP), Dr. Witold Radomski, Dr. Adam Abodeely (CEO, Coral Cove Wellness Resort) and Steve Zinders (Owner, Coral Cove Wellness Resort) from our Coral Cove hub in Little Bay. Coral Cove is equipped with a helicopter landing pad to receive medical and wellness supplies, serves as a central site for distributing emergency packages, and delivering care to families most affected throughout Westmoreland and neighboring parishes.

How Funds Will Be Used

Your contribution directly strengthens these efforts, helping us provide the following needed essentials. Every act of generosity helps restore stability, nourishment, and hope in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.

Needed Essentials

• Rebuilding supplies; roof replacement & critical home repairs. We are constructing safer, stronger, and hurricane-resistant homes.

• Household essentials; bed frame, mattress, pillows, mosquito mesh

• Gas stoves for safe cooking.

• New & expectant mothers essentials; breast pumps, maternity clothing.

• Children’s supplies (babies – teens); clothing, diapers & wipes, hats, socks, blankets, baby hygiene products, feeding supplies (bottles, formula, bibs, pacifiers, etc.), health & safety items (thermometers, first-aid basics), and age-appropriate essentials for older children (shoes, clothing, socks).

• Food security; organic, non-gmo native seed varieties.

• School supplies; uniforms, shoes, socks, backpack, pens/pencils.

• Holiday gifts that bring hope, joy, and comfort to children.
