Hi, my name is Samantha Romero, and I truly appreciate you guys taking the time to read my story. My family has been blindsided by a terrible car accident that has injured both of my children. My daughter, who is 8, and my son, who is 4, were involved in a car accident with another family member.

My son, Kai, is doing great, but he suffered a clavicle fracture. Along with some pretty gnarly bumps and bruises. Although we are grateful that he’s going to be just fine, his sister doesn’t share the same story.

My daughter, Shantel, is now suffering with a TBI ( Traumatic Brain Injury). We are hopefully that she will gain full function back, but it’s not always guaranteed. Along with her TBI, she is suffering from a liver laceration, bruising of her adrenal gland, and 3 pelvic fractures.

Funds raised will go to medical bills, rehab, therapy, and to our family to help get us through this terrible time.
