Hello! We, Marcel and Chad, are the proud sons of Elayn Taylor, a beautiful and loving grandmother of three, and her adored kitty cat Missy. She is an extraordinary actress who has shown unconditional generosity to our family and others. We are raising our children with the same love and care our mother has shown us.

Mom is now fighting Richters Disease, a rare and aggressive form of CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) cancer, which only affects 7% of all worldwide cases. After almost a year of traditional chemotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, and fighting calcium build-up, our mother’s medical team of oncology and lymphoma specialists believe the best way to cure her cancer will be through Car T-cell transplant therapy.

Car T-cell transplant therapy is a breakthrough cancer treatment that has helped so many others within the last few years. There is a 60-70% success rate among recipients, 30% of whom go into complete remission. We are very excited and hopeful about this transplant procedure!

It will take approx. six weeks to prepare mom’s blood for the transplant. During this time, she will need 24/7 care, and after the transfusion, she will need another 4 to 5 months of 24/7 observation, recovery, and rehabilitation. We need support for that and the following:

• Caregiving needs

• Transportation

• Follow-up chemotherapy

• Rehabilitation

We have set the goal to raise $40k, which will help tremendously with her caregiving, rehabilitation, recovery, and follow-up treatment.

This cancer is quite a beast! But against all odds, and with your help, we will completely eradicate this disease from her body. Our mother has been and will always be a true fighter!
