Healing Harper Jo

This fundraiser is to support Rachel and Taylor Closen and their sweet baby girl. Harper Joanne gracefully entered the world on 12/21/22. Unfortunately, Harper has spent majority of her time in and out of the hospital due to numerous health challenges including infection, Jaundice, Hypothermia, liver/kidney issues, failure to thrive and so much more . Cumulatively the Closens and Harper have spent 25 days living in major hospitals, while medical professionals ran various tests, labs, and exhausted all medical and emergency measures including CPR, biopsy’s, and referrals to Lurie Hospital downtown to help baby Harper. Harper is currently and thankfully back at home but has a long road to recovery. She is currently dependent on oxygen and feeding tube. Understandably so, this affected the Closen family in more way than one. Many people have offered to help in any way they can and this fundraiser is set up to help support the family during this difficult time- especially with the burden of medical bills and Harper still requires weekly medical attention. Anything you can contribute will go a long way and is greatly appreciated.
