This GoFundMe is being set up to help cover medical expenses for John Whalen. John suffered a major ischemic stroke on 1/20/25. This GoFundMe is not something the family ever imagined doing. As they face the challenges ahead, we are reaching out for support from family, friends and the community.

John is a dedicated and hardworking man who has always put others before himself. As the manager of Perrine’s New Smyrna Beach market and the Port Orange location before that, he has built strong relationships with customers and colleagues, always greeting everyone with a smile and a helping hand. He has been an active part of our community, and now, he needs our help.

The road to recovery will be long and filled with uncertainties. We are preparing for medical treatments, therapy, and other unexpected expenses that come with his healing journey.
