Darryl Newman has been with the Riverside County Sheriff’s department for over 5 years and has fulfilled many positions. However, he has spent the last few years in the traffic division! 

On February 27,2021, CSO Darryl Newman while on duty with The Riverside County Sheriff was involved in a horrible incident/ collision.  He along with a Sheriff Volunteer ride along we’re standing outside of their marked patrol vehicle dealing with a prior incident.  The patrol vehicle they had been in was struck and then collided into them and 2 other bystanders. Unfortunately the precious bystanders lives were taken that night.

Darryl and the Volunteer suffered serious injuries.  We all know that even with a paycheck some unforeseen expenses can/ will arise that he and his family will least expect. 

We as his blue family want to help him and his family ease any expenses he or they may encounter as he makes the road to recovery!
