Healing Fundraiser for John Henry Vensel

We are Dara & Chris McCord and Katie & Alex Sher of Salt Your Food @ Bovino After Dark where John Henry has been working as a chef and valued team member. Last Thursday, John Henry was in an unfortunate motorcycle accident, and he is currently being cared for at Grady Hospital. He has suffered 8 broken bones in his arm, several broken bones in his leg and several strained, torn, and severed ligaments. So far he has undergone three surgeries, and there may be more in his future. We are also expecting about 6-9 months of PT afterwards.

As we all know, we are living in a time where we largely have to rely on crowd funding to truly get the help we need when disasters strike. John Henry is currently facing soaring hospital bills, months and months of physical therapy ahead, and not to mention he will be out of work for the foreseeable future. The toll that a health emergency like this takes on a person - physically, financially, mentally - is exorbitant. And we want John Henry to know that we are all here for him every step of the way. There is no donation too small here. Each and every dollar will help our friend to focus on healing and help him through this hardship. We will keep you all updated on his progress as we learn more.
