Healing Fund for Cherry Dizon

This fund is in support of our Aunt Baltazara (Cherry) Dizon who has been recently and very unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and her young daughter Jade who has taken on the sudden responsibility of caring for her mom.

Aunt Cherry and Jade are based in the Houston area where Jade is embarking on her final year of undergrad with plans to attend nursing school. The two of them don’t have much of any other family or direct network of support in Texas.

Jade is currently hosting her mother and tending to her post-hospitalization recovery in their apartment. While they hope for and work toward any means of recovery, Jade and her mom are in need of any support we can find as they endure this insurmountable hardship and these unpredictable circumstances.

All contributions will go directly to Jade and Aunt Cherry to help them maintain their rent, hospital visits, and other costs of living while they develop a longer-term plan. My Mother, Lea (Cherry’s sister), is immediately relocating to Texas to support them as much as she possibly can.
