Healing from Hurricane Helene: Help me get back to Taos

As you all know, I was greatly affected by Hurricane Helene last year. I was planning to go to Taos for my birthday the day after the storm hit but was unable to leave bc of the flooding (highways were literally washed away, there was no electricity to power the gas stations, no telephone signals to gps). I was able to find reception on a hill and contacted the host of my Earthship air bnb and pleaded for help, a reimbursement, anything, and was denied. I followed up with VRBO and per their rules, they were unable to refund me. I lost $2000 on that trip, which could have greatly helped me during that time. as you know, Taos is one of my favorite places to be and heal. I’m hoping to try to go back this year for my birthday and am asking for any support you have to offer. I have struggled since the hurricane at getting back on my feet, and this would be such a magical amazing thing to get to go do after such a hard year of struggle.
