Support Kelsey’s Road to Recovery ❤️

I am reaching out on behalf of my amazing friend, Kelsey — a devoted mom, wife, and truly resilient human.
On June 3, Kelsey took a hard fall and hit her head. What started as a trip to the hospital to rule out a concussion quickly became something more serious.
The doctors did a CT scan to check for a brain injury — and while they confirmed a concussion, they also found something more alarming.
The scan revealed signs of possible tissue damage in her brain.
She was urgently sent for an MRI, which confirmed that Kelsey had suffered a stroke. The stroke had affected the cortical area of her brain, and her MRI showed necrosis — meaning parts of her brain tissue had died. Specifically in the right cerebellum.
She is now under strict orders to rest and not work, while undergoing ongoing testing and care to monitor the progression of her symptoms.
She’s been urgently referred to a neurologist and a stroke specialist in the city and is awaiting more specialist appointments to figure out what caused this, when exactly the stroke occurred and what the road ahead looks like — including whether it could happen again.
We will keep the post updated as we know more.
Through all of this, Kelsey has remained brave, but the reality is this: she’s unable to work With no timeline for when she’ll be able to return.
We’re raising funds to help relieve that burden — so she can focus on healing instead of worrying about groceries, bills, and how to keep everything afloat.
If you know Kelsey, you know how strong and selfless she is. She’s always been there for others — and now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps. And if you can’t give, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. The more people who hear her story, the more support she’ll receive — and right now, she needs all the love and strength we can rally.
Thank you so much for reading and for standing beside Kelsey in this difficult chapter.
