This page is for my wife.
My wife, Carmen Whitehead, has weathered many storms in her life. Just like a palm tree rooted deep in the soil, she has learned to bend and sway when the winds of life press hard against her. She’s endured the pain of a divorce , the heartbreaking loss of her son Christian in 2016, this was when we met, and now, in 2025, a diagnosis of breast cancer. Still, by the grace of God, she is still standing.
My wife Carmen has leaned on her faith through every trial. She has devoted her life to serving others through various channels and doing what she loves to do, through her work as a massage therapist. Helping and caring for others has always been part of who she is. Even when she was silently struggling, she kept showing up with love, compassion, and a spirit that refused to give up no matter what came her way. She has been a great example of perseverance and determination.
I have no doubt that my wife will get through this, but even the strongest need support, and this is a time when she needs it the most.
In March 2025, my wife was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and ductal carcinoma in situ in her right breast. She will soon begin chemotherapy. She has made a difficult but life-saving decision to undergo a double mastectomy, followed by reconstructive surgery and radiation. The road ahead will have its challenges, but Carmen knows she’s not walking it alone. With God first, her family, and friends, she leans on us to support her. She believes that God will make a way even when there seems to be no way.

Why We’re Raising Funds:
Even with insurance, the cost of treatment, surgery, and recovery is more than we can manage on our own. We’re asking for support so Carmen can focus on healing without the added weight of financial stress.
Funds raised will go toward:
Ongoing cancer treatments and medications
Reconstructive surgery and follow-up care
Recovery needs such as travel, supplies, and any other items that she may need for recovery.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to help ease these burdens and allow my wife to move through this process with peace and stability.
