The Youth of Nepal have spoken and stood up for their future. They fought the corruption they have faced to help Nepal flourish into the beautiful nation it is. Although they came in with peace, they were met by violence and tragedies.

Project Phoenix - A Rapid Response for Youth Healing and Resilience in Nepal is being initiated by Nepal Rising (Daayitwa US) in collaboration Sambhavya Foundation, providing 5 weeks of structured mental health care to 300 youth affected by political unrest across Nepal. This program focuses on collective healing, peer leadership, and long-term resilience, fostering a community that goes beyond temporary support.

On behalf of the Nepali Student Association from the University of Washington, we are supporting Project Phoenix and bringing light to the importance of mental health and healing.

Your donation will go towards professional mental health counselors and facilitators, technology support, training and orientation, marketing and outreach, and an in-person follow up event. Donations are also being matched dollar for dollar up to $2,500 by Nepal Rising towards this program.
