Our 7-year old daughter Elizabeth, has been diagnosed with vision disorder that involved her focusing (accomodation) and eye teaming (binocular) skills. The deficit in both these areas is going to affect her long-term learning and succeeding in school. Our ophthalmologist has said that this will not get better over time unless she receives a 6-month vision therapy treatment program to alleviate the problem. Our vision/medical insurance unfortunately does not cover any of the cost of the therapy so we have to cover the whole amount, and we need to get her treated asap. I will attach the doctors cost breakdown in case anyone would like to see it. Just to give a little family background, I work for Fedex doing about 50 hours a week to try to take care of our 3 kids, but we still live paycheck to paycheck, and there is no way we can come anywhere close to paying for this. I know everyone has many expenses, so I greatly appreciate any help you can give for Lizzy so she can see well again. Thank you for taking the time to read this, yours truly, the Faulds Family.
