Healing for Levi: A Long Road Ahead

My name is Becky and I’m asking for anyone and everyone’s help. I understand Christmas is around the corner. We have five beautiful babies and our fur baby and Yesterday, I was at Blue Pearl emergency in Rochester Hills all day with our beloved fur baby Levi. He is our two-year-old, pure German Shepherd. He got hit by a car late at night. He suffered a severe open wound on his back leg, where it's completely to the bone, and he is looking at 8 to 12 weeks of care. We have to get him back and forth to his primary vet every 2 to 3 days so they can assess it to make sure the infection is gone and that it’s healing properly. Once they are certain there is no more infection, they will be able to suture the wound up. We still have to get an X-ray to be certain if his foot is broken or not. If his foot is broken, we will be going even longer through the process with a longer healing time because they cannot put a cast on him until his current wounds are completely closed.so we pray that it’s just the wounds. But we are desperately asking for anyone that could help, even a little. We appreciate anything and everything. We have had a few people help us already with the emergency vet bill, and we are so grateful for them and everyone else. We want to thank you for even taking the time to read this.
